During this journey through space, students discover everything beyond our planet. Travelling faster than light, they explore planets, moons, suns and galaxies.

What is the difference between a planet and a moon? Which spacecraft orbit the Earth? How vast is the universe, and how do we know all this? Students explore these questions by travelling through our solar system and beyond the stars.

The students learn to measure and to calculate using units and measurements, such as time, money, length, perimeter, area, volume, weight, speed and temperature.

The students learn to care for the environment.

The students learn to investigate materials and physical phenomena, such as light, sound, electricity, force, magnetism and temperature.

The students learn that the Earth's position in relation to the Sun causes the seasons and the cycle of day and night.

Practical information

ARTIS is easy to reach by public transport, car or coach. Don’t forget to reserve a start time no more than one week in advance. ARTIS also offers optional lunch packages.
