The coffee and tea facilities were well arranged, and we also thought the lunch was excellent. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I park my car at ARTIS?
Yes, visitors can park in the ARTIS Zoo car park. Parking tickets can be paid by invoice.
Can I visit ARTIS Zoo and the museums during my event?
Naturally! From exclusive tours to inspiring lectures by experts, ARTIS offers a variety of ways for you to enrich your event. Ask about the additional options available.
It is unfortunately not possible to hold an event close to the animals.
Can I get married at ARTIS?
Yes, ARTIS has several attractive rooms where weddings can be held. Unfortunately, it is not possible to get married in the zoo itself, but a photoshoot or other activity in the zoo could be a fun addition to your special day. There is more information available in the ARTIS wedding brochure.
Are amplified music and banners allowed?
You may play amplified music at our indoor venues, as long as it does not exceed the decibel limits. Amplified music is not permitted outdoors, however. Banners and other communications may be placed inside or near the entrance to the Groote Museum, but not in the zoo, on the forecourt or on the Artisplein.
Is it possible for us to arrange our own catering?
No, you may not arrange your own catering. ARTIS’ regular catering partner Vermaat caters all of its events.
