Come on a journey through the universe and discover the astronomical origins of our holidays. Learn about the context of the many rituals we repeat every year, which are mostly expressions of awe in the face of nature.
We end the evening with a walk through a dark ARTIS-Park, where all your senses will be heightened and we learn about the nightly rituals of our plants and animals.

Forget about the Moon as well. It’s about to be striking off on its own. And our star, the Sun? In a couple of billion of years, it’ll be our direct, excruciatingly bright neighbor. That is until it envelopes all of Earth completely, of course.
