European premier Our Story with David Attenborough at ARTIS

On May 8, the day Sir David Attenborough turns 100, ARTIS will be the first in Europe to screen the new dome adaptation of Our Story with Sir David Attenborough in the Planetarium. Previously, Our Story was shown at the Natural History Museum in London. With this special premiere, ARTIS underscores its role as a place where people can experience, understand, and appreciate nature.

Experience the European premiere of the new dome adaptation of Our Story with Sir David Attenborough at ARTIS. This film experience aligns seamlessly with ARTIS’s mission. Here, you’ll not only see how rich and diverse life is, but also that humans are an integral part of it. In that sense, ARTIS is the place that can bring the message of Our Story to life. Our Story was developed by the award-winning team at Open Planet Studios. Open Planet has previously collaborated on TV and film productions such as Ocean with David Attenborough and David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet.
An immersive film experience
The 50-minute immersive film experience Our Story shows how closely all life on Earth is interconnected and what role humans play in it. David Attenborough takes you on a journey through the four-billion-year-old history of Earth and the relatively brief history of humankind, which turn out to be inextricably linked. Through a combination of stunning nature footage, animations, and projections, a complete 360° experience is created: a powerful narrative about humanity and the planet, about impact and responsibility, and about the possibility of living in harmony with Earth once again.
