Learn more about the Eurasian griffon vulture

With a wingspan of around 2.5 metres, the Eurasian griffon vulture is one of the world’s largest flying birds. While searching for prey, their large wings enable them to soar for extended periods without a single wingbeat.

Throughout the day, there are interesting talks about the animals in the zoo, describing their unique characteristics and the kind of care they need.
