Sexual diversity in the animal kingdom during Summer Nights at ARTIS Zoo
Love and sexual diversity come in many forms in nature. Different sexual preferences, sex changes or the absence of a gender: nothing is alien to nature. Homosexual behaviour has already been observed among 1,500 birds and mammals, microbes sometimes have up to seven genders and not all species are male or female. During this themed guided tour, you will discover how animals flirt, mate, form relationships and how diverse that looks. The guide will take you along examples from the animal kingdom and show you that there is plenty to learn about love in all its forms at ARTIS Zoo.
