ARTIS invites all children at home and in the classroom to help come up with a name for the newborn elephant calf! Everyone who submits a name has a chance to win a visit to the elephant enclosure together with their entire class.

ARTIS is looking for a name for the Asian elephant calf. The calf is a female.

The name should have a connection to the elephant’s native habitat, Asia, and to ARTIS or Amsterdam. Submit your name by February 15, 2026.
