About the artist

Sisy Fos is a Dutch artist who blends neo-soul, indie pop, jazz and lo-fi funk into warm, personal songs. His music is driven by groove and lightness, while also making space for doubt, discomfort and the things we do not always dare to say out loud.

Inspired by artists such as Bill Withers, D’Angelo, John Mayer, Benny Sings and Tom Misch, Sisy Fos strikes a balance between playful musicianship and honest storytelling. His songs explore themes of love, friendship, growing up and learning to appreciate what may seem ordinary at first glance.

On stage, Sisy Fos performs with a live band. The music is carefully arranged, while leaving plenty of room for spontaneity, humour and connection with the audience. Intimate moments are interwoven with soulful grooves and songs that make it hard to stay still.

Sisy Fos creates music that never tries to be bigger than it needs to be. Warm, human and optimistic, without shying away from life's rough edges. Music to dream away to, move with and, every now and then, simply pause and reflect.
