Nienke Leone

Rotterdam-based Nienke Leone sings what she is afraid to talk about and invites you to be best friends for one night. Her energetic show with infectious enthusiasm is an ode to honest music, inspired by artists like Typhoon and Julia Michaels. She writes her songs on her houseboat, with narrative, autobiographical lyrics and ultra-catchy choruses setting the tone. The accessible pop songs betray her experience as a commercial songwriter; she has already written for artists like Miss Montreal and had a No 1 hit on Spotify with “'Regret is for Later”' from Gooische Vrouwen.
