Follow in the footsteps of Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, the famous Dutch scientist who was the first to observe microbes in the 17th century. During this May holiday workshop, you'll build your very own microscope – and discover the invisible world of microbes with your own eyes.

What will you do?

You'll learn how to make and use a simple microscope. Then, choose from a variety of microbes to explore: see how fascinating they look up close! Of course, you can take your homemade microscope home with you to continue your search for microscopic life.
