Bring microbes to life yourself during Museum Night at ARTIS-Micropia with the instrument BELONGALONG. Together with other visitors, you’ll create a soundscape where art and science come together.

BELONGALONG

During Museum Night at Micropia, you won’t just make music, you’ll create a sensory experience: vibrations you can feel throughout your body and sounds that emerge from the interaction between you and others. As you play, images and tones arise that evoke the invisible world of microbes. Just like microbes, which exist in connection with one another and with us,  you and your fellow visitors become part of a greater whole. In doing so, you’ll discover a new way of listening: to each other, and to the smallest forms of life.
