Did you know that the various voices in a choir (bass, tenor, alto and soprano) and the relations in an orchestra have the same structure as the tones and sounds found in nature? On this sultry summer evening, Leon Berendse, flute player with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra (NedPhO), will be explaining all about the musical golden section in nature and the animal kingdom. A six-piece NedPhO ensemble will then perform flora and fauna symphonies.
