You are donating to the non-profit foundation ARTIS, with its registered office in Amsterdam, and registered at the Chamber of Commerce under number NL41199694. ARTIS is classed as a Public Benefit Organisation (ARTIS is a cultural PBO) and also holds the CBF quality mark for charities.
Donation terms and conditions
These donation terms and conditions apply to any online donation made to ARTIS via www.artis.nl. On this website the donor is asked to accept these donation terms and conditions by ticking a box. ARTIS reserves the right to change the donation terms and conditions in the interim.
Rights and obligations of ARTIS
Any payment made by a donor via www.artis.nl accrues to ARTIS and will be used by ARTIS for renovation, improvements and extensions. This purpose corresponds to Artis’ mission and vision. Refunds are not possible. ARTIS will take appropriate measures to secure the transfer of data in the scope of this action. Persons who are authorised on behalf of ARTIS to view this data are obliged to observe confidentiality, subject to legally permissible exceptions.
Rights and obligations of the donor
The donor cannot derive any rights from a donation other than that ARTIS will use the donation for renovation, improvements and extensions. To be able to make a donation the donor must be 16 or over. The donor is required to correctly indicate his/her name and identity. The donor will make the donation using means that he/she may dispose of and has control of.
Privacy
ARTIS processes the personal data provided by the donor in accordance with all applicable legal requirements, including in particular the rules pursuant to or under the Personal Data Protection Act. These personal data are processed by ARTIS for the purpose of settling donations as meant in these conditions, for carrying out marketing activities as far as related to ARTIS’ mission and vision (unless the donor indicates otherwise), as well as to enable it to comply with legal obligations.
Legal
Exclusively Dutch law applies to your donation and these donation terms and conditions. Offers are valid as long as the corresponding products or services are in stock. The disclaimer on the ARTIS website applies in full.
