Throughout the Artis grounds, you will find a variety of restaurants, small cafés, outdoor cafés and authentic tray bikes (bakfietsen) selling a wide range of food and beverages. You are also very welcome to have a picnic in the grass, enjoying treats you have either bought on-site or brought from home.

Self-service restaurant with an extensive range of coffee, tea, snacks, sandwiches, fresh juices, soups and ice cream. Includes a large terrace overlooking the Savannah and the playground.

restaurant Flamingoserre
Sit-down restaurant offering a selection of seasonal dishes and Dutch pancakes, overlooking the historical Flamingo Pond. Open daily.
Vlinderrestaurant
Here you can enjoy the sight of butterflies floating around while treating yourself to coffee, tea, soft drinks, packaged snacks, cookies or ice cream. The restaurant is open during the training sessions of the sea lions.
Planetariumcafé
Take a break in the Planetarium café, where you will find coffee, tea, soft drinks, fresh sandwiches and a range of sweet and savoury snacks. Open daily.
Poffertjes House (Poffertjeshuis)
Try some delicious, typically Dutch poffertjes (mini pancakes) and waffles on the terrace beside the Petting Zoo. Open during warm weather.
Authentic tray bikes (bakfietsen)
Throughout the Artis grounds, you will find authentic tray bikes selling a range of coffees, teas and snacks.
